Common pricing questions
Pricing is per organization, not per seat. The core variable is the number of employees whose work activity is mapped in the knowledge graph. HR administrators and power users have full access regardless of how many are logged in simultaneously. There is no per-user license cost on top of the platform fee.
You need a cloud tenancy in one of: AWS (ap-northeast-1), Azure (Japan East), or GCP (asia-northeast1). Minimum compute specifications depend on employee count and connector volume. Our deployment team provides a sizing guide during the onboarding process. For most Standard-tier customers the infrastructure cost adds approximately 15-25% to the Asterminds platform fee.
A Pilot deployment typically takes 6-10 weeks from contract signing to first query. Standard deployments take 12-16 weeks depending on the number of connectors and the complexity of the source data environments. Enterprise deployments are scoped individually. All timelines include our 90-day onboarding program which runs concurrently with the technical deployment.
We do not offer a self-service free trial. Knowledge graph construction requires connecting to your actual data sources inside your infrastructure, which cannot be simulated in a sandbox. Instead, we offer a free 90-day Pilot specifically scoped to let you evaluate the knowledge graph against your real data before any commercial commitment. Most Pilot customers proceed to Standard after 6 months.
The knowledge graph data lives in your own cloud tenancy. If you choose not to renew, the Asterminds query API and UI will stop functioning, but the underlying graph data remains in your infrastructure and is yours to export in standard formats (RDF, JSON-LD). We provide a data export package as part of offboarding at no additional cost.
